  1. The contrasts (natural vs man-made, visual vs verbal, ....) between the two parts of the haiku are thematically significant and visually and emotionally evocative.Alan's fine haiku reminds me of the following poem by Emily Dickinson

    To see the Summer Sky
    Is Poetry, though never in a Book it lie—
    True Poems flee—
